Transfer from A.C.E. to The School of Teaching English as Second Language upon completion of Level 6. Enjoy the low cost, personal service, and beautiful campus atmosphere at A.C.E.'s Language Institute on the Seattle Pacific University Campus and then transfer to an exciting Seattle University Certificate in TESOL offered at The School of Teaching English as Second Language (School of Teaching ESL).

The School of Teaching English as Second Language agrees to recognize the English language proficiency of students who have successfully completed level 6 of the A.C.E. Intensive English program.

The close proximity A.C.E. Language Institute on the SPU campus and the School of Teaching English as Second Language means that a student can keep the same home-stay or living arrangements throughout his or her course of study!

The School of Teaching English as Second Language, Seattle's premier institution for TESOL Certification, works in cooperation with the Seattle University College of Education. Seattle University is a nationally accredited university with a well-deserved reputation for academic excellence. The School of Teaching ESL was founded in 1985. The School of Teaching English as Second Language TESOL Certificate programs are designed for the international student who are already teaching TESOL in their home country and want further professional development and certification, or for students who are ready to begin careers in TESOL.

A.C.E. Language Institutes handles all aspects of the application process, and issues the initial I-20. Upon arrival A.C.E. handles airport pickup, orientation, homestay and advising, as well as the payment of fees to The School of Teaching ESL and the transfer of the student to the program at the School of Teaching ESL. Because of the proximity of SPU and School of Teaching English as Second Language, the student can keep the same homestay for the duration of the program. The student will be contacted by School of Teaching ESL for pre-program advising while he or she is studying at A.C.E. Language Institutes to help prepare for the transition to School of Teaching English as Second Language.
